WHO ARE WE
WHO WE ARE
Project Idol is a Bay Area J-rock / anime-inspired six-member band: vocals, two guitars, bass, keyboard, and drums. Our name comes from YOASOBI’s “Idol” (Oshi no Ko) — and along the way, Ave Mujica and the world of BanG Dream! became a deeper shared anthem for us.
THE MASQUERADE
At Anime Expo 2025, we took the stage under a concept we call the masquerade: masks and unified personas, stripping away our individual identities so that nothing stood between the audience and the music.
REMOVING THE MASQUERADE
Now we are removing the masquerade — a symbol of our growth as a band. What remains is sincerity and authenticity: six musicians, no masks, and a deeper connection with everyone in the room.
WHAT WE PLAY
Our setlists span the songs that shaped us, including Ado, Ave Mujica, MyGO!!!!!, Kessoku Band, ZUTOMAYO, and Togenashi Togeari — performed live, with full-band energy.
